When I was a senior in college, I had a spontaneous opening that changed my life.

I didn’t know what had happened to me to make me feel so connected to the world and filled with joy. It lasted about three days. It was a drug-free, spontaneous opening of my heart.

I then spent the next 40 years searching for the exhilarating, joyful energy that had filled my heart. I read books. I helped myself heal in therapy. I was part of the “human potential movement” of the 1970s and did many personal development workshops including Werner Erhardt’s “The Forum”.  For the last 11 years I have participated in Mankind Project, an awakening men’s community, where I healed into the sacred masculinity.

I’m humbled and grateful to say I’m happily married, raised a family and had a career in sales, management and training & development.

Through the decades, I continued on my spiritual path.

Most recently, I have had the good fortune to study with inspiring and nurturing teachers – Debbie Ford, Arjuna Ardagh, Craig Hamilton, Jeff Carreira and Rupert Spira.

These exceptional spiritual teachers deepened my understanding, healed my heart more deeply, and awakened me to my true nature – “the one thing that changes everything”, as spiritual teacher, Eckhart Tolle, writes.

This is my passion and my work now. As I begin my ‘senior years’, I am filled with the excitement and exhilaration of the openhearted awakening I had experienced so briefly and powerfully when I was 21. That is the energy that expresses itself in the playful work of Joyful Living Global.

Joyful Living Global expresses my heart, my passion and my purpose:

Using my life to serve the greater good of awakening to our birthright, our true nature of the peaceful, joyful, loving beings we are.

I invite you to join me on the path.
